No Curtains, No Problem DIY Window Treatment

All you need is wax paper*, plain white paper, scissors, and tape.
Tadaaaaaa!! It lets plenty of light in, gives you privacy, and it's really pretty. 
*Make sure you double up on the wax paper so you can't see through it.
