This is the door mat just outside of my oldest daughter's kitchen door. It's moss............yes, that's right......... moss. I think it's funny how sometimes you find something incredibly beautiful in the last place you would ever expect to.
that is amazing as i thought it was some shot of greenery from afar! beauty is found in the most unexpected places. i think moss is beautiful. HAPPY MONDAY darling xx marian
ohh talking about those sweets(with love messages on them) i just bought a pack of them yesterday honey at the supermarket. we have them here too honey. I have noticed a lot of heart shaped lollipops, heart shaped chocolate, marshmellow hearts etc all over shops. I popped into topshop yesterday and they had a bunch of them at the till point! big kiss xx marian
Marian: Cool, I was sure that you had moss in England. But I'm totally surprised that you have "conversation hearts". I love the idea of selling sweets in the fashion stores. It goes right along with the thinking that women should be a bit more fleshy.
Chris: Have you lived there all of your life? Maybe you could start a little terrarium or something.

Hmm. It may look nice but moss does freak me out a bit.
Mo.: Moss is nice, it's soft. It's nothing at all like mold, which makes you cough & wheeze.

I have heard of moss before, we here in Colorado are too high and dry for it to grow.

The is really cool. It's very Chinese garden-ish.

gah! that is beautiful!!! what a gorgeous green! and i bet it feels delightful on bare feet!!!
and i also love how barnacles look. rad. :)
Reminds me of this one guy's bathtub in college. Only instead of moss it was mold.
Okay, now that I think about it that is really nothing like bathtub mold. I don't know, my mind just does stuff like that.
Joanna: Yes, I can see that "rake" thing, now that you mention it.
Drolly: I'm going to look up barnacles now.
Miss Yvonne: O.K., now just stop it, because you've got my mind working that way now too. It's all fungus and black basement walls, crap.
I like moss, it's so lush and cool and has that great texture!
My wv is "defoof" ... almost as good as moofies!
Kate: Nothing beats moofies.
Well that is very cool!
Woah so cool! hahaha that actually is really pretty. I love moss cuz it is soft :)
Modern Mom & Clare: I'm glad you can appreciate the beauty of it. :)
