The scene plays out at work, where I am already feeling a little discombobulated.Little old lady: (flatly) You look like Cher.
Me: That's nice. I get Lilly Tomlin a lot too.
Little old lady: No. You look like Cher......only better.
Me: Well, that IS nice, thank you. I wish I had her body.
Little old lady: Cher wishes she looked like you, at her age.
Me: She's had a lot of work done. Even Cher doesn't look like Cher anymore.
Little old lady: I suppose that's true. YOU look like Cher though. (shoves her packages into her cart and exits briskly)
I'm a little conflicted about this compliment.

i get weird compliments all the time. sometimes i am offended, sometimes i'm not. the funniest one recently was that i looked like a grape!

p.s i am in the talks with a few magazines to be a contributing writer. :) since you've been wondering if i would ever considering writing for a publication, the answer is i'm already doing it! i just don't mention it on the blog.

People should just keep their thoughts to themselves sometimes!
I wish everyone could do our job for just one day. It's not easy to bite your tongue all day, and a lot of people need to know that.
