This is how I'm quitting cigarettes, or at least cutting way down. I have 1/2 a cigarette in the morning, the other 1/2 after lunch. Then 1/2 after dinner, and the other 1/2 late at night. That amounts to a total of two cigarettes per day. I've been doing this for weeks now. I'm waiting for my husband to stop (he's down to about 5 per day). Then it's bye-bye Phillip Morris. So far, it's going pretty good. My craving's are a lot less, and I think it should not be too hard to stop completely. Wish me luck.
