The Waiting Game

Where do you go when it is all snowy and cold? Do you gaze out of the window at the black and white beauty? Do you distract yourself with fashion, or some other media? Or do you submerge yourself in family activities? I do all of the above. Things tend to go at a much slower pace when the weather keeps you indoors. Telephone conversations are longer, friends draw in closer to each other as we wait out the cold. We linger over meals served up warm and fragrant. And always keeping an eye on the weather, for that subtle shift that tells us Spring is on the way. Take heart. . . it's almost here.
