Buy the Book

I bought this book several years back, for my son, who is a great cook. I love this book, by Art Smith (Oprah Winfrey's personal cook), because it celebrates eating with your loved ones (as opposed to eating alone, I guess). The recipes are wonderful; check it out at your library or local book shop. xo

looks like a lovely book ... I'm eager to buy one of Bill Granger's books - I've seen him on telly and he cooks honest and with honest food...I really like that...
Been back from Paris since Wednesday ;-))
Yesterday I've been back working

Dominica: It must feel good to be back home, even after a fantasy vacation. Have you seen Facehunter's new post yet? You are going to love the first photo!

bec: Cooking is something I came to bit by bit, and now I'm quite good at it, actually. It's a matter of knowing what food's compliment the others, and after that it's easy.

I've seen this book. That's sweet too...to think of recipies that remind you of what those who were close to you..their favorite foods. I hear thats a gypsy tradition. Don't know if thats true, but it is nice gesture.

Thanks for the note. Yeah, I finally found my boyfriend's Ramone T. He had no idea the cat had been sleeping on it..for perhaps weeks. I did wash it...and it was like brand new. He forgot he had it.

OH..I changed my header and color..let me know if it hurts your eyes or something..I'll do my best to make adjustmments.

Choo: I am sorry you don't have this book in Romania, but I am sure you have some nice traditions of your own.

LC: The key here is involving your family. It's a nice excuse to get together.

Cait: I don't know about gypsy tradition, but it sounds nice. I love the Ramones, they always give me a lift. I am running over to your site right now to check out your header. xo
