I Don't Want to Hear About It
In my previous post, I mentioned that I hate the term recessionista. I feel that this deserves a commentary all it's own.
Recessionista is a term that obviously came about in response to the savvy, fashionable woman in our time of financial crisis. And while there is nothing wrong with that, I find the term objectionable because fashion never was, and never should be, about making the most of your pennies. I like a bargain just as much as the next girl, but I don't want my photo snapped at Filene's basement sale; and that's just what the term recessionista is. It's exactly like taking an unflattering photograph of a woman. We all like to be photographed when we are at our most fabulous, don't we? And don't we love to be inspired? Isn't that why we started fashion blogging in the first place? Some of my favorite, and most brilliant, blogs to read, never, ever refer to the hard times we are all going through; and I thank them for that. BTW, I absolutely LOVE fashionpirates.blogspot.com. This young girl has heart, and understands, at her tender age, what really drives the fashion world home.
Now. . . go out there and be fabulous! Just don't tell anyone how you managed it.

Absolutely true ...
Never give away any of your fashion secrets !
Or maybe, just a hint ...
:-))
I agree what Dominica says!!
Dominica: A few hints are great, but it's good to keep "them" guessing.
Choo: It's wise to agree with Dominica.
