I love this photo. It's inspiring! I am TRYING to reinvent myself too. I guess it is a process, an evolutionary period that we might not even realize until some time has passed and we are living that new life at least somewhat contentedly. Of course, if we were ever so content, we might never reinvent ourselves, and how boring would that be?
FL: I think JB reinvents herself professionally. Personally, I bet she's pretty much got the same standards she had 20 years ago. BTW, I left a comment on Peggy's valentines for you, but I don't think it went through. That happens to me a lot. xo
thanks so much for the comment and making my day too. I was afraid you wouldn't like Emily & Archie..especially, when you said he reminded you of norman bates, but then again, I always liked norman bates.
I figure you either reinvent yourself or lose what you believe you've already become. No such thing as standing still. It's great to have high-visibility women like this to remind us that it's possible.
Hi Cooking Blind! I didn't know you had this Jane Birkin post. Shortly before you posted it, I started my blog in January and she was one of the first people I put up. She's one of my style mavens, though I'm actually not that familiar with her music. I'm going to read some more of your blog and already enjoy it. Please pop on over and check mine out if you'd like...
