Color Inside the Lines

Don't be caught off your guard when spring weather hits. A few basics can get you started. One sleeveless shirt-dress that hits just below the knee, Three cardigans in assorted colors, Three pairs of shoes - bootie, pump, sandal. et voila! This is your basic recipe for spring dressing. Add liberal amounts of accessories and colors to suit your taste. kiss, kiss xo

I so love this idea, but I have a problem - shirt dresses (especially sleeveless ones) make me look like a chunky prison matron. It's so sad.
Could I swap them out?

Vic: Anyone can wear a shirt dress, the key is finding the right shape for your figure. Try one with a fuller skirt that stops right at the knee. xo

Such wise choices. Thanks.

& thanks so much for the note too. Yeah, I don't sleep as much as I should. My boyfriend can sleep the day away.

Cait: A good night's sleep is essential. Sometimes lack of sleep is due to dehydration. Try a small glass of water before bedtime.

La C: Thanks, that means a lot to me coming from you, because you are one of my style gurus.

Posh: Thanks for the heads up on that trend, I'll have to check it out.

That's a nice formula. I like formulas, because they reduce thinking needed to get dressed.

Have been having trouble getting on your blog this week, so was glad it worked tonight. I love your drawings.

Sallymandy: Thanks for coming back. I have trouble leaving comments all of the time, so I guess maybe everybody thinks I don't care enough to message them. Pity.
