I definitely got the idea because I did the very same thing....although I have to say that next year I have to make a solid effort at finding illegal fireworks. These little tiny ones the kids are using are ridiculously lame and they need some "boom" in their little lives hehe...I know it's not the best thing to do by mentioning it here but I assume you or none of your readers work for the authorities.
Ouch, that first photo looks. . .well, yeah thats a blooper for sure.
hey, we had some knuckleheads shooting off fireworks out of a dollar-van right in a gas station.(Roman candles) the police got there before I could even call. . . Just be responsible!
Hahaaa..well, the 4th just can't be had without a little merriment...as we did at my parents house..minus the boyfriend who had to go to Walnut to be with his brother for one last hoo-rah before the brother is shipped off. Although, it was a bit of a washout at first. We went to the high school for our usual firecracker rampage & it begean to rain. Also there were posters everywhere..NO FIREWORKS..which was so unusual. They seemed homemade, and we didn't really believe it. So we went home called my grandparents and my grandpa just wouldn't stop talking to my brother. Then my mother was worried that something was wrong with her Mom because she hadn't heard from her in weeks. So I talked to my grandmother about my cats & then she got a hold of my mom to tell her all the bad news happening around there..of course, my cousin who just graduated high school moved in with her boyfriend at my great grandparents' farm house. We were all in the state shock since we all thought she was going to be a missionary as much as she went to church. And finally the rain ended and my little brother made bombs with what was left of the fireworks and well, we drank up the rest of beer and wine and then my boyfriend's girlfriend came over to our my place and we had spiced rum and cherry coke...so yeah, I guess that inspired my post today..but we might have had more fun.

JFK Jean: I won't tell. I love the big boom ones, so long as they're done by professionals.

WE had a few july 4th bloopers at our party but I think the Margaritas were to blame :-) xo
Gary H: I can't believe some people can be so stupid, it's a good thing the coppers came.
Cait: I am so in love with your family.
Joanna J: You had margaritas? Man, all we had was beer. poop.
Hehehe...Tarzan blooper...
I got rained on during the 4th while trying to stain a deck... what a celebration! Hehehe...
