Hot Fun In The Summertime

One of the main reasons I bought my house was for the yard. Who could resist those berries? The garden is doing really well, the flowers are still blooming, and there's nothing as relaxing as sitting under the tall pines.

I kind of miss having a backyard. The reason why I say "kinda" is that I don't miss the yard work or garbage duty haha

Looks like a great place to sit back and sip a tall, cold glass of iced tea with mint.

HELLO EVERYBODY: The yard is really my haven.
JFK Jean, So, does that mean your parents had a house with a yard? Let me guess, garbage was one of your chores, haha.
Miriam, I don't think they're raspberries, they're some kind of wild berry.
Pru, It's funny you should mention mint, we have two kinds: spearmint & chocolate mint.
Did I ever mention the little bunny that lives in my yard? He's adorable, but impossible to get a photo of, fast little bugger.

Love, love, love the yard Diane! In order for me to have a garden I'd have to fill in the swimming pool and my husband's not buying it ;-)

And chocolate mint??? Very cool. I hadn't heard of that before.

Your backyard is paradise! If I ever have my own backyard like that (living in a dingy apartment now in pay-thru-your-nose CA), I can only hope it will look as nice as urs!

Yes they did and while I enjoyed not having to mow it but those damn chores you have to do. What can you do when you're a kid anyway?
