Here's a few random shots from July 4th. I have other's on another camera, so I might post them at another time. I have no idea why some of these photos are large and some are small, I got them from an on-line photo site from an e-mail sent by my brother-in-law. There were a lot more, but I didn't want to post them without permission. It really was a fun day. My sister-in-law worked so hard to make everything perfect.
And where do I find the time? Ah. I always have a notebook where ever I go (conveniently stashed in my purse, of course). And if I ever find time - even if it happens to be a minute - I write (:
Oh..how sweet. Really, loved the pool shots. & some sweet photos of the family too. I'd love to post pics of my brothers..but my older just takes a bad picture, perhaps because he's kind of drunk.. and my younger one does not like for anyone to see that glorious French nose of his. If Gaspard Ulliel can carry it off..so could he.
Thanks so much for your comment! I think blogging's always worth the time and effort. It's like keeping a diary that you can come back to later and remember all the great things you've done. I blog for myself and friends and family first, but I like that other people seem to enjoy it too!
Diane! I'm glad you had such a good time. These photos look so sweet and fun!
Hope all is well lovely! It's my one year blog anniversary and I would like to thank you for being one of my favorite blogger friends for a while now. :) Here's to another year.
P.S. I was looking through your blog and I saw that you have a granddaughter? Wow, I really would've never guessed you were even close to being 50. Your profile picture is very deceiving...but in a really really good way. ;) This whole time I had this idea that you were 30 something.
PrincessImp: Thanks. It took me the entire summer last year to find the perfect suit, and even then I had to alter it. The little princess is my grand daughter. I can't get enough of her.
Diane, That looks like the perfect day :-) And I thought the photo sizes were your artistic touch :-)
Life is upside down these days with too many house guests (*ahem* relatives *cough*) staying too long, so I'm kind of all over the place. It's one of those-- can't live with them, can't live without them times. Thanks for checking on me. xo

looks like fun! I miss swimming!
Chelsea: It was a pretty nice day. Feel free to do illustrations of my bathing suit, hint, hint.
La C: Your dedication is inspiring. I used to be like that with my song writing. Then I realized that only one of my songs was any good, so I stopped.
XAVS: It was a good time. Not Ibiza, but still nice.
JFK Jean: I'm always good. My wild days are over.
Mo S: You have scanned correctly. The beer did not appear until it was almost time to go home.
Isabel: Thanks. Bombshell bathing suits are just how I roll.
Cait: We're big nose lovers in this family. We've all got one.
Billy: Go jump in a lake, haha. Your blog is hysterical, and I recommend it highly for anyone who needs a good belly laugh.
Glad you had a good time, the pictures are great!
Look at you with your gorgeous self! How in the world do you stay so skinny?
That pool sure looks refreshing! Hope you had a great day!!
Hugs!!
SkylersDad: Thanks. Did you get to swim?
Tracey: For skinny tips, refer to my previous post on my son's party. Remember me chasing my grand daughter all day?

Miriam: That's not superficial, it's the designer in you. Thanks very much.

Have a good day.

Laura: I think you've got the right idea when it comes to blogging. Write for yourself first.
Drollgirl: For Merde-day it wasn't a bad day. Quite beautiful and breezy.
Hippie girl: Hey, I know you have beautiful places to swim. You won't be jealous for long.
Morena: I feel guilty, I haven't left a comment for you in, like, forever. Wait....I'm coming over.
btw, that profile pic was taken 30 years ago, haha.
I didn't plan it no. :) I just really like that song.
Anyway, thanks for your comment!
And no way, that couldn't have been taken 30 years ago! Because if it was, lucky you because you must not age.
You are hotness in your swimsuit! ;)
Who's the little princess in the last picture? She's beautiful!
Morena: Thanks, you are my new bff. :)
PrincessImp: Thanks. It took me the entire summer last year to find the perfect suit, and even then I had to alter it.

You look great Diane !
Great bathingsuit too...I am so envious of your legs....
what's the secret in keeping them that smooth ...??
Joanna J: Family is very important, so it's worth putting up with the crap, mostly. I'm glad you're dealing o.k.
Dominica: Shaving.
diane : like grandmother, like grand-daughter, you are both so beautiful :)
