Scarf Print Kimonos

My latest obsession is scarf print kimonos, or anything slightly along those lines. I think they are an elegant addition to any wardrobe, especially if you live in your jeans. Most of these pictured are from Alloy and a few are from Forever 21. The yellow one is tailored brilliantly on love Maegan's page (her link is on the side bar), and of course she looks gorgeous in it.
As a side note, if you're on love Maegan's page, be sure to scroll down and check out her diy projects, they're some of the best and easiest I've ever seen.

Wow, I'm the first comment? Woo-hoo!!!
These are all beautiful, but sadly, I'm to the point where this style makes me look pregnant :-( A very scary thought at my age! But I still love the look and the colors!

They're lovely, makes me want to be a woman...

Love the top sketch, did you do that?

top obsessions, diane! xx.

Joanna J: I can see how the shape of these blouses might do that. I've seen scarf print button up shirts too. They tuck into jeans, and create a slimmer line. Maybe something like that might work better for you, and you can still have those colors.

Mo S: You are scaring me (hiding my lipstick). Yes, that's my sketch. I used to sketch a lot more, so now I'm getting back into it.

Miriam: I'm still completely obsessed with my PF Flyers too.

If I was a girl I would totally wear those. Without anything else. I would be such a slut...

Drollgirl: I honestly think just about anyone could wear one of these, they hide a multitude of sins. Not guys though, which brings me to...

SkylersDad: What, are you kidding me? Reading that gave me a total visual, and now I have to go wash out my brain with soap.

Choo: I'm jealous.

These are definitely sweet. I like the shape of them.

Thanks for the note. Hope you are gearing up for a fun 4th. I bought fireworks with my Dad yesterday.

I also had the pleasure of making a lib. card for an old boyfriend's wife at the lib. Yeah, that kind of bit me in the butt. Didn't see that coming. I think I might be engaged for a century.

I love these too Diane...my obsession starts every year when the temp is rising !
My latest are a Micky Mouse one (will do a post on that 1 pretty soon) and a white silk one with tiny little hearts...It's a bit see-through but a very nice lady posted me some great stuff a while ago and that LBD she sent me is perfect to match it underneath !!
So, thanks again !!

I can never get enough of that print; sometimes it looks tacky, but sometimes, when done right, it looks so lovely!
