Monster Truck Obscenely Steals Husband

Evidently, there was a big black hole in our lives where another absurdly cool vehicle should have been. Enter Big Bertha, the newest addition to our happy circle of motorized friends (65 Bel Air & motorcycle). She makes Cute Hubby look like a Lilliputian from Gulliver's Travels. And she draws attention from males like sh*t draws flies.
I'm just so happy right now, that I can't even talk about it.

Another thing that draws flies is males with their sweat and unhealthy lunches. So what you're really saying is that the truck is surrounded by males who are surrounded by flies.

wow look at the tires on that thing. ok i must admit i'm not a big fan of them. my bf wants one even though we live downtown. i have no idea what he wants to do with it. he's a graphic designer. its ridiculous for his lifestyle.

That's quite the truck you've got there.

Mo: Why don't I have someone like you writing for me? You could double-talk the chewing gum out of a politician's mouth.

Mina: It's like the quote from Mary Poppins "Though we adore them individually, we agree that as a group they're rather stupid".

The Peach Tart: Ha, isn't it the truth?

What's the clearance? What kind of motor? Augh! Deatails!!!

Isabel said...

Ahhh, it's huge! I can't even handle it. Must be a pretty bad gas guzzler, eh?

diane said...

Drolly: Well.....somebody's happy.

SkylersDad: I'll get right on that.

Isa: I'm assuming it's a gasaholic. Cute Hubby keeps asking me if I want to take a ride in it, but so far I've declined.

haha, fantastic. what a great toy for the big boy!

Since good stuff comes back to us just like the other stuff, if your hubby is happy and you are happy then life's good, huh. It is a really cool truck.

miriam: You completely "nailed the tail on the donkey".

TechnoBabe: Welcome to Insanity, and good observation.

hahahaaa..

It'll be well needed when that snow storm hits! Makes me think of something my boy used to drive. It was a trade off. Lord, was it full of noise and everyone thought it was so cool. But his friend wanted it back and well, they traded for something he still has to tinker with most weekends. As it is, thanks to dear old dad for helping me get a newer car than what I had. Less rust, but sounds like we are in for a snowy winter.

Cait: What you say makes good sense, and that's the reason he bought it in the first place. Your boy sounds cool, and dad sounds like he's keeping you safe. xo

Men and their toys! I'm lucky, my hubby isn't into cars so he only has one (phew!) and his and my car both fit in the garage :-)

But I get you look gooooood in the passenger seat :-)

xo

Joanna: I look good in the passenger seat of the 65 Bel Air. I'm not getting into that truck unless there's a snow storm.

Looks amazing. I would love to have a truck like that next to a 'regular' car. :)

diane said...

JD: Of course you would, you're a guy. I would rather have something in between a regular car and a monster truck. Like a smaller truck that drives like a car, but won't get stuck in the snow.

Yay! Clappy for the truck - you must look so hot in that thang!!

It, officially HUGE...LOL.

Have a great day dear Diane, much love, Evi

hell yeah girl, that "thang" would fit in great down here in Memphis, Tenn! Us southerners do love us some big trucks:)

diane said...

Lulu, Eve, & Mel: I have no intention of riding in that "thang". It's too huge and loud for me, Cute Hubby has it up for sale.

Vic said...

Oh my.

Seriously, my condolences. Been there too many times.

Lately my husband has been talking about resurrecting the motorcycle that is lying in parts in our garage.

diane said...

Vic: That's right, I remember now how similar our hubbies are. Didn't your hubby take you out on a date to a fireworks fight?

I love big trucks! I think it really brings out the mtn girl in me:) The tires on that thing are enormous!

OMG, Diane, I don't know how I missed this one. I'm sorry!

I love Big Bertha! What a great truck!

woooh humongous!
I need that car to make my hips look smaller errr???
Have a great weekend!

Dooder: That truck would bring out the mountain girl in you for sure, you need hiking boots just to climb up into it.

Tracey: I hate that truck, I refuse to ride in it, and I can't wait until it's sold. Don't worry about missing my posts, Cute Hubby's been laid off and spends too much time on the computer these days. (which explains my lack of posting & commenting)

Domi: Hahaha, I forgot all about our road trip! We deserve much better than that truck, how about a 1965 Cadillac?

Lenore: That truck would make Kirsty Alley's hips look small. You would probably disappear if you stood next to it.
