I wanted to pop over and say I'm sorry to have offended you with my goof on the French youngsters. You are correct, of course, and I knew that as I wrote. If it helps at all, I make fun of Americans more than any culture, with our gun-toting, nearly xenophobic patriotism, Walmart shopping ways. I also make fun of the silent dark passivitiy of Finns, which is my heritage. So anyhow, sorry to have my post roll over what you know to be true. Gotta say, though, that I just posted a follow-up comment, noting that it is, indeed, age that's the factor, of course. But also that there have been groups of Italian, Korean, Dutch, Japanese youngsters staying here, and none have acted thusly.
