Don't Toss It, Dye It.

If your light-colored clothes are starting to look "worn", you can dye them in your washing machine with, preferably, black or navy RIT dye. Here's how to go about it:

Run your items through the rinse cycle and spin cycle. Take them out and set them aside.
Fill your machine with hot water and then slowly pour the dye in (so as not to splatter).
Add the wet clothes, and set on agitate for about 5 minutes.
Let everything sit for at least a half hour to set the color.
Rinse and spin.
Dry your newly dyed clothes immediately to set the color better.
Don't forget to wash your machine with soap and bleach, on a normal wash cycle.http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y38/Brooke208/DyedCrinoline.jpghttp://www.tutu.com/images/prod/ntn/ritdye_104x97.jpgI know, I know. I said navy or black, but I couldn't resist showing you the blue slip peeking out from under the wedding dress.

I did this once with a white linen shirt - it had a rust-stain on it and that does never ever come out again...so I decided to dye it blue and it worked pretty well....
