Sisters, Sisters, There Were Never More Devoted Sisters

Since most of my support comes from other women, I was thinking about how we really form a protective "sisterhood" for each other. Mothers, daughters, friends, co-workers, the mail lady, you name it. It was this cold of mine that triggered this train of thought, my youngest daughter phoned me the moment she learned I was ill. But now I realize how most women really are very quick to support each other in some way, which is great. Not that the men aren't nice, too, but the support of other women is more instant, more natural, savvy? It's no wonder one of my favorite CD's is Women of the World - Acoustic. With great songs by our "sisters" in Croatia, Canada, Algeria, ect., this music really is so relaxing and comforting. M'envoyer des Fleurs by Sandrine Kiberlain is the nicest track for me. Anyway, thanks so much for all of the nice comments, expressing concern and well wishes. Have a fabulous Monday. kiss, kiss xo

Yeah, women get more concerned about tings. Men are like...'if no one is going to die, it's allllllright!'.

The picture of those two chickies is the sweetest of your whooole blog!

That really sounds like a wonderful CD to have. I love that company.

Hope you are feeling better. I am still very sleepy. I must go to bed early tonight. I must.

Yawn...

Thanks for the comment too.

Hi Diane,

true and we are really concerned when you care about that other lady...Just like last week, I learned my friend's son was sick and rushed into hospital and I was very worried cause I couldn't reach her by phone, nor did I know what hospital her son was in. I mailed her and left messages on her phone...
I was so happy when she finally appeared in my store and told me everything was ok and that she had lost her phone in the commotion while running to the hospital.

Jazmin: I wish I could understand what you said there, but I will definately check out your site. Thanks for the comment.

Dominica: Thanks for sharing the story. I'm very distracted by your hair at the moment, it is too perfect for words, I'm sooooo jealous.

XAVS: I think you are right, in a general sense. Maybe it's our maternal instinct.
