Total Fantasy, or "Wake Up, Number 37"

I "lifted" this image off of Coolhunter, but that's o.k., because they "lifted" it out of Volt Magazine. Anyway, this total fantasy fashion photo may be the last "Ahhh" moment for me this winter; what could possibly top it? And with Paris fashion week going on, I'm confident we will see a lot of "lightening up" in more ways than one, thank god. Enjoy the moment and give my regards to Xanadu. kiss, kiss xo

now that's a doooo...

thanks for explaining that. I did have that dream. & there was a freaky storm. But I do think motherhood causes some very very strange dreams. My mom claims she's never slept through the night since my oldest brother was born.

And I love your suggestions! Thank you - I'll try that lemon & sugar idea!

dk;dc: That's just my take on it, it's just a dream. I never slept through the night either, when my kids were little. Always 1/2 awake, and listening.

La C: Thanks for your understanding. And congratulations to you, too. Didn't you get that award way before me?

It is a beautiful picture. A little disturbing too, in a good way.

Over the top couture but then again, isn't couture always OTT ?

Vic: We like "disturbing" though, don't we?

Dominica: Come on, you could totally pull off this look. The kids would love it!

Jasmina: It's a hat. But the real question is: Is it synthetic, human hair, or horse hair?

CC: Alors, there's your inspiration then. I can't wait to see the outfits you photograph when warm weather hits and all of NYC's fashion mavens go on parade. :)
