It's Not Always About Me, Sometimes It's About What Inspires Me

All of these photos inspire me in some way. Be sure to click on each image to enlarge it and see the details, it's worth the effort. From the children's fashion in Cookie Magazine, to the $1,495.00 Valentino wrap & $2,4500.00 Dolce & Gabanna dress in Neiman Marcus, to the $129.00 1947 dress in J. Peterman Company, to the photos of Uma Thurman, Drew Barrymore, and Jennifer Garner. These are gorgeous images that have nothing at all to do with the recession. They are rich in color and beauty. Enjoy them as I do.

There will be more stories about the trip when the photos are developed (yes, I know, there are digital cameras, smarty pants).

Dominica: I am so surprised that you didn't comment on the Valentino piece, I thought for sure that you would. When I included the children's stuff, I totally forgot about your store. I am remembering now how much I loved those photos you posted of your buying trip in Holland.

I am in love with Jennifer Garner. She passes the test that my buddies and I came up with for true beauty, which is that she would still look good after a 3 day raft trip.

JFK Jean: I believe quousne is the french term for "ugly cousin to avoid at weddings and family reunions". I don't know, I could be wrong.

SkylersDad: I believe your standards are up there with Cute Hubby's. We went camping on our honeymoon.

Tracytreasure: Let's invite them all to girl's night out. What's the worst that could happen, they would just say no. I say we should go for it. Hugs right back at ya babe!

You have such a great eye for pictures, Diane.

I just ADORE that dress!

Uma Thurman is a lot like Nicole Kidman in my opinion, in as much as sometimes I can see a picture of them and think them quite plain, but then another picture, like the one you used, makes me think "Ooooh! Now I get it! She IS beautiful!"

Lovely post and it inspires me as well! Isn't Uma just fabulous, she has such a strong personality.

Cheri: Thanks, and welcome to my insane little blog.

Miriam: I need an actual address to mail the articles to you. Unless I can figure out how to attach them to an e-mail, in that case never mind.

Drollgirl: Aren't 50's dresses the bomb?

GirlInterrupted: Thanks for the compliment. And who wouldn't love that dress, it's the same price as a car.

TMWKTM: Dennis, I think Uma comes from a strong family. Her brother does shiatsu massage in New York.

Really some great pics to be inspired by.

Thanks for your notes. Yes, I went to his blong..one time..it was intersting. Very much so.

Oh, if only I could have a Rosco interested enough in fixing something. I'm afraid I come from a house of men who bark like sailors when they get into putting even shelves together My boyfriend is nifty when he wants to be, but that goes in bouts.

That first picture is totally awesome. I'm actually considering buying some Birkenstock clogs, no lie.

Isn´t Uma Thurman one of the prettiest ladies of Hollywood??
