Change Your Body and Be Admired

You go right ahead and exercise, it's o.k. I'll just sit here on my sofa eating eclairs and drinking lattes, watching from a safe distance. Oh wait, is that a piece of melted chocolate on my shirt? Man....now I have to go all the way upstairs to change. Maybe I'll take a little snooze while I'm up there. You go right ahead and keep exercising, here...I'll put on the t.v. for you before I go. xo

When you say "eclairs" do you mean the little chocolate ones that come in little wrappers and are made by Cadburys, or do you mean proper massive cream-and-chocolote behemoths?

eclairs are my fav kind of 'patekes' (flemish for pastries covered/filled in creme au beurre and chocolat)
Those are the long puffy dough versions of profiterolles, filled with wipped cream or vanilla custard and covered with chocolat and choc-sprinkles ...mmmmm
I could eat 3 in a row when I was a kid !!

I'm working out almost on a daily basis and I'm trying to get the body in the last picture. :P
But i should eat more chicken because I'm still super light weight.

JFK Jean: Yea! You recognized Serena! I wondered if anyone would.

Mo S: I'm talking about the big boys.
I still crack up every time I think of you standing next to the wardrobe with your cell phone, all "deer in the headlights", haha. I can't even imagine what your wife thought you were doing.

Dominica: Eclairs such as you have described are my favorite treat, yum! Whey don't they have eclair eating contests instead of pie eating contests?

JD: Give yourself time. My son was totally light. He even tried drinking "shakes" to gain weight. Now he's 27 and still thin, but has muscle in all of the right places.

I had chocolate on my butt yesterday. Does that count?

haha, you crack me up. you know, i didn't make up Dennis' nickname - that's his lovely signature : ) bisous

diane said...

Jules: That TOTALLY counts.

Miriam: Noooo...I don't think so. His blog is called "Get Your Plane Right On Time", but I like
The Man Who Caught Too Many Planes" better.

Diane - are we having our first written fight? Dennis calls himself "The Man Who Caught Too Many Planes" on my blog : )

Sigh... I just don't have the body type to look buff like the dude in the last photo. I am more of a runner build.

diane said...

Miriam: I stand corrected. Although the idea of a girl fight sounds kind of sexy, haha.

SkylersDad: A runner's build is better than most. You have awesome legs, I've seen them. Actually, we've all seen them.

"Exercise"?? Not familiar with this term...

"Chocolate",on the other hand. I may or may not have chocolate on my breath at this very moment.

haha, cat fights are sexy! and I'd happily knock you off your little self righteous pedestal again if I could.

btw, as for your comment about your 27 year old son. he sounds intriguing!

bahahah!!! i just ate a cookie!

i have to get back to exercising EVENTUALLY, but my gimpy sprained ankle is taking EONS to heal, and so the lounging continues. ;)

I'll bring chocolate ice cream, caramel sauce, hot fudge and nuts if I can join you on the sofa :-)

ANd Serena-- She's just plain intimidating!

Ok, now I was an eclair craving... I'll be in Paris in a couple of days so I'll be able to indulge, he he he.

haahahaaa...so clever.

Thanks for the note..oh you know I can't things perfect.

Vic: I adore you.

Miriam: I'm so glad to be forgiven, thank you. And yes, my son is intriguing. He's handsome and brilliant, deadly combo.

Drollgirl: OMG, I completely forgot about your ankle. I would bring you some eclairs if I could.

Joanna J: Come on over, the more the merrier.

Mary-Laure: If you're going to Paris, be sure to try a Ba-ba rum; it's a dessert soaked in rum.

Maegan: I wish I had that problem. Unfortunately, for chocolate to find it's way to my chest would be nothing short of a miracle.

Cait: No one gets it right all of the time. But you're o.k. with me kiddo.

Mary-Laure said...

DIANE - yes I am going to Paris for a few weeks, though I live in LA. The "baba au rhum" is actually my dad's favorite dessert!

don't you burn calories when chewing? (at least that's what I tell myself...)

Girl Interrupted said...

Hahaha ... that cracked me up! :P

I read that banging your head against a wall for 3 hours burns 150 calories ...

*wanders off for an eclair (or three)*
