Don't Read This One If You Don't Want to Work

Hahaha! I knew you wouldn't be able to resist reading this with a title like that!
Thank you Tracey of Green Eyed Momster for giving me the Superior Scribbler Award! Here are the rules:

1. Each Superior Scribbler (SS) must pass the award on to 5 most-deserving bloggy buds.
2. Each SS must link to the author and name of blog from whom he/she has received the award.
3. Each SS must display the award on his/her blog and link to this post which fully explains the award.
4. Each blogger who wins must visit this post and add their name to the Mr. Linky list at the Scholastic-Scribe's blog so we can keep track of all who wins this prestigious award!
5. Each SS must post these rules on their blog.

My five nominees are:

Girl Interrupted of A World So Small
La Couturier
xaviworld
Vic of What Were You Thinking?
Fragrant Liar

This was really hard. First of all, these are a lot of steps to follow. Secondly, I follow a lot more blogs than these five because they are all good. If you are not on this list, it's because I could only list five. If you are not familiar with any of the five listed, I suggest you give them a read, they are all truly superior and that is why I picked them.
O.k., I've checked and re-checked this list several times, and I don't think I messed it up. Good luck with your awards, and thanks again Tracey!

I really don't want to work, but i read this anyways. You seem to be racking up quite the blogger's trophy case, Diane. Congrats!

I don't wanna work - I just wanna bang on the drum all day.

Thanks for the comments over at my place:) You are so witty!
Came back to follow!

Choo: I have a good heart, this is true.

anna: Thank you. My first thought on a Scribbler award was that it was for my stick figure drawings, haha.

Isabel: I know, right? I guess I'm going to have to come up with something splendid to show for all of those awards.

The Peach Tart: I love that! Do you bang the drum slowly?

ModernMom: Thanks for the invite, I love your blog.

Thank you Diane! :) Coming from you I take it as a big compliment. I shall display my award with pride xx

Girl I: You actually deserve the award waaay more than me. Your writing always keeps me glued.

Well, I knew it was a lot of work but most things worth doing are. You are very deserving and I'm so glad that you did it! I was honored to be on the list and I knew you'd be too!

It took me over an hour to do it and I almost said "screw it" but I went ahead with it and I'm glad to see that you did too!

I really appreciate you and your blog! You're a bright spot in my life!

Hugs and love,
GEM

Tracey: I love you too. Don't everybody else get all excited by that now, I mean it in the spiritual sense.

wow...more awards. Interesting as always.

Thanks for the note....hmmmm..about that question you asked.

Hey, thanks, Diane! I do like to scribble. Maybe I'll put up one of my more awesome scribbles when I showcase my award to the world. You'll want to stay tuned for that. But now, why did you put me under Vic at WWYT? I can't imagine what she did to deserve higher placement than me. Did you see she has that picture of some old bitty looking at boogers? I mean, gah! I should be on top of her (figuratively speaking). . . Oh,and don't tell her I said that, 'kay?

diane said...

Cait: I KNEW it!

Fragrant Liar: There is no special placement. And I love that booger lady on her blog, very classy stuff there. And all of your scribbles are awesome! I'm glad you don't mind receiving an award that takes so much work. xo

Vic said...

@Fragrant Liar-- Hey!!! I'll have you know that booger lady is probably a lost Monet, or possible a paint-by-number. Either way, I earned my place on top (heh). Also I pay diane a small monthly fee.

Although... if you keep featuring Miss A I'm going to have to give up my spot to you. You are an excellent writer, but that girl is my absolute favorite.

@diane - Thanks for the award!!! I'm going to stop grading dumb essays pretty quick and put it (and a couple others :) up on my blog.

You always manage to make my day!

diane said...

Vic: I totally love reading about Miss A too.
What ever happened to the other awards that you had on your page? Do you have a special cabinet where you keep them?
I can't stop thinking about your classroom patio, btw. I'd like to sit out there with a good book and a latte'.

Vic said...

You can sit on my patio any time (that sounded much more suggestive than I meant...)

It was nice out there today.

My awards were in a slide show on Bubbleshare. Bubbleshare went belly up and took my awards with it. (sad face).

Vic: No matter what I say, it sounds suggestive. I'm like the female version of Joey on Friends when I speak.

I can't believe that about your awards. Take mine. xo
