Lifestyles of the Young and Restless

There are two different lifestyles going on in this house at the moment, evidently.
Cute Hubby's lifestyle entails really cool vehicles for driving to work and week-end jaunts.
My lifestyle consists of photographing my tea cup with and without the flash, while considering if I should embroider something over the stain on my bathrobe.

And that just further highlights the differences between men and women.

Hey, photography is just as cool as motorcycles! I'm a fan of the non-flash photo. ;)

I want a motorcycle so I can go for rides between tea time! Love your pictures! Have you tried Oxy-clean for the stain? I swear the stuff is awesome!
Hope your week is fabulous so far! Happy Hump Day!
Hugs!

Have you ever heard Paula Poundstone talk about men and women? She mentions men don't cook, unless they BBQ. Men will only cook if danger is involved.

Peachalicious: Haha, you are so right!

Isa: The one that was taken without the flash looks like the one taken with the flash and visa versa. So I think you like the one taken with the flash, the darker one. Thanks sweetie.

Tracey: Only a strike of lightning straight from god could remove that stain. Did I ever tell you that I fell in love with Cute Hubby on a motorcycle?

SkylersDad: That makes perfect sense. Thanks for the tidbit.

I prefer the first photo of the teacup. It's friendlier. And I share your love of a hawt guy on a motorcycle which for me began when I saw the movie Rumble Fish. Sweet Lord, Mickey Roarke was gorgeous in that. Everytime I see his face now I just think, "why, God? Why?"

haaahahaha..good luck on the embrodery stuff.

Oh, I did get my flu shot..and I feel terrible at the moment. I've gotten them in the past and haven't felt a thing. This one put a whammy on me.

I like non-flash photos too. I like the chunky quality of your tea cup and the detail.

Applique for your stain? Maybe a bumble bee, or, or! a Harley Davidson insignia. Then you could wear it on a ride with Cute Hubby!

Pru: That's my favorite one too, it just seems "warmer" to me. Whenever I see M.R.'s face I feel sad.

Cait: Meh, I might or I might not.
Honey pie, I am so sorry about your flu shot reaction. :(
What you can do now is boost your immune system with Vitamin D-3, zinc, echinacea, and Vitamin C. Try googling Mercola.com and see if he offers any advice on what to do once you've had the vaccination. xo

OMG! We have sooooooo much in common, woman! I used to ride around on the back of Hubby's bike when we started dating and then we'd go to the races on his bike. Now, I'm big enough for my own bike! LOL!!

Hugs!!

So that's what they mean by "Men Are From Mars and Women Are From Venus"-- Now I get it :-)

And I LOVE the red chair.

Vic: I never realized that my tea cup has a chunky quality. Maybe a diet is in order. Or it could just be that it looks chunky because it is striped.
For the stain, I was actually thinking about roses, but a bee might be cute.

Tracey: Cute Hubby's been trying to talk me into getting my own bike for years. No way! I like riding with him, but solo is just not my thing.

Joanna: We're big on office chairs in this house. We have three of them at the kitchen table, they're the best seats. And three more in the computer room. We like the old wooden ones the best.

The whole 'Venus and Mars' thing will never get old....

Haha. Jeremiah goes out skating two nights a week and he comes back all sweaty and active...I'm sitting in the corner of my couch crocheting and watching totally girly reality shows.

Mina: That saying couldn't be more true in our case.

JFK Jean: You're right, but sometimes I feel like I'm living on the moon.

Erin: He's a skater huh? That's cool.
I don't watch t.v., but I love project runway.

i love your chair! is it thrifted? i'm looking for a similar...

diane said...

miriam: We have a collection of old office chairs, most were purchased at flea markets or auctions.

Hey Diane,
I am really big into my perfect mug for my perfect cup of coffee....I could imagine having the perfect bathrobe makes the cup of coffee even better. I would be terrified to get on a motorcycle. About McKenzie Phillips, I was really proud that she came out of the closet with this. I was surprised that she kept on saying it was concentual and that she knew all along it was wrong but she basically went through with it. I was also proud for her for talking because I could see how painful it was for her.
XO,
D-

Dooder: I have a different cup, my Ranger Joe, for coffee.
I can't believe MSN news, allowing people to call in and criticize McKenzie for talking about this. How dare they be so presumptuous as to ask that it might have been wrong for her to bring this out into the open??!! D*ckheads.

Did you do the picture in the corner? I really love it. I really like your creativity.

Thanks for the note.

Cait: The painting in the corner was done by Lloyd Raymond Ney, he was Cute Hubby's grand father.
I'm flattered that you thought it was one of mine.:)
