Are you a fan of Woody Allen? Then Stardust Memories (1980) is a movie not to be missed. It is filmed in black and white, and has a "Fellini-esc" feel to it. This movie is a great peak into the quirky brain of Woody Allen and his view on life. A must see.
For fashion fans, Charlotte Rampling is at her best in this film.

Am I a fan of Woody Allen? Um, if I'm honest he freaks me out a bit, there's nothing worse (I imagine) than encountering Woody on a dark night.
Oh, my Dad was so in love with Charlotte. She was his ideal woman. I guess. Seems like I saw her in "I'll sleep when I die" with Clive Owens and Jonathan Rhys Myers. Of course, I could hardly notice her with clive & jonathan to watch.
I really loved Woody's Match Point. I was so shocked he could make such a drama as that. Christina Vicki Barcelona was really good too. Woody & Scarlett have really bonded..it seems. I'm just glad she didn't marry him or anything.

i was a Woody Allen fan until he married his step-daughter. Before that I thought he was great. And my Aunt was in his movie "Bananas"!!!! For real! She sang the opera song :-)

I don't know that much about Woody Allen, but I saw Annie Hall and loved it. He's totally nutty!

Woody may well be America's greatest film maker. One of the best for sure. He has so many classics it's tough to chose a favorite. But, if you're new to Woody, I strongly suggest you go back in time and listen to some of his stand-up stuff, before he got into films. I'm sure you can find some on the web.

How are you darling? I saw your birthday is coming up? What are you going to do? I am such a Woody Allen fan. In college I would sit in the NYU library and just watch his movies over and over again HOWEVER I've never seen this one. I will def keep it in mind on Netflix because I love Charlotte.
Vic: I'd be willing to bet you've enjoyed a few of his movies that he didn't act in. How about Don't Drink the Water, Interiors, or Purple Rose of Cairo?

I haven't seen that one yet ... I find his films a bit hit or miss, I either love them or hate them. I'll try to check this one out.
