After snapping the last photo, I turned to see the woman in the row in front of mine glaring at me as if my little camera would be responsible for scrambling the plane's dashboard.
I love the moment of take-off, that weird mix of excitement and fear, plus I can never quite get over my amazement that flight is even possible. I'll make it to the 21st century one day.
The photos are wonderful, the perfect way to say au revoir to a place of such beauty.

Peeps on planes can be crazy sometimes.
